What our volunteers are saying...

"I joined MPI this past spring 2016 and was so excited that I immediately jumped on-board as an MPI volunteer. Special thanks goes out to Dana Colwell, CMP who entertained the idea of inviting me to my first Educational Program held at the EMP Museum as a guest and Samantha Shaw, CMP for researching the right volunteer position that would fit my schedule and spent some quality time training me until I was 100% on-board. I've discovered the true value in becoming an involved volunteer has opened my world of opportunities to work with a fun, creative, collaborative and engaging team, in turn has forged some great working relationships. I’ve worked closely with Jessica Deri as my leader for Sponsorship Perk Benefits Committee along with all the other dedicated and organized volunteers who have been very supportive along the way. I've gained so much insight with this amazing group. I highly recommend anyone who wants to be more involved with MPI to become a volunteer and reap the valuable benefits available to them. Thanks a million!"

"When I was looking to volunteer on the Cascadia Committee, unlike some other organizations, I never felt pounced-upon to participate, but rather the team made me feel very excited about the opportunity and volunteering for Cascadia. So far at MPI I have been absolutely floored by how kind, welcoming and mentoring members have been, it has been an amazing experience."

"....whenever I join an organization, I research what I can "learn" from the group and I assess how my skills and experience can "enhance" the organization. MPI is an essential organization for my employer and my personal career growth. I have met and worked with a wide range of members that I would not have had the change to get close to, and I truly believe that I have assisted in the structure and presence of the organization on the State and National level......"
