Dear Chapter Leaders,

In the past few weeks, we have experienced tremendous concerns in our industry due to recent global economic uncertainties.  These economic shifts have impacted our global membership.  But during these times, maintaining your connection to the meeting and event community is even more important.

MPI recognizes that some of our members are facing unemployment.  To help, MPI offers a six-month extension for members who are unemployed and up for renewal.  This keeps members connected to our profession by providing critical access to the meeting and event global community for information, knowledge, human connections and a vital marketplace for conducting business.

In addition, landing new positions will be made easier by retaining access to MPI resources for local chapter networking, online conversations, and our Career Connections site for future employment. 

Please have members who are unemployed and up for renewal call the Member Care Center at 1-866-318-2743 to discuss options regarding retaining their MPI membership.
